A moderately sharp bow to provide protection from frontal impacts, yet minimize water resistance. A gracefully, lightly curved bow that aids streamlining yet helps pass over obstructions and not pick up weeds. Tumblehome around the seat to provide the paddler with easy access to the water. Standard trim is of the highest aircraft grade, marine-anodized aluminum; 6061-T6 or optional gunwales of sitka spruce and mahogany. Moderately high sides (13 3/4") provide good carrying capacity and dryness without excess wind resistance.
