July is a perfect time to experience Kayaking at the beautiful La Jolla Shores, California. You can go on a kayaking tour with your own kayak and even rent one. The La Jolla Shores are extremely popular and attract a large number of people during the July 4th holiday, so reserve your Kayaking tours in advance.

For myself, I have always had exciting experiences visiting the sea caves along the shore. I love watching the leopard sharks and the Garibaldi fish along with all the various types of seals.

On the 4th of July, different parts of San Diego come alive with spectacular fireworks. The Coronado Independence Day Celebration is one of my favorites. You can watch the Independence Day Parade, enjoy concerts in the Coronado Tidelands Park, and end the day by watching breathtaking fireworks at the Bay. The cool thing, you can see this all while still being seated in your kayak or canoe.

The largest fireworks display and one of the best events that takes place is the Annual Big Bay Boom Fireworks Show. This is a land-locked event, so come early insuring that you get good parking and a good spot from where you can watch the awesome fireworks.

Talkng about land-locked, my favorite inland spots are near Harbor Island, Embarcadero Marina Parks North, and Seaport Village.

You can also go to the Ellen Browning Scripps park and enjoy concerts in the evening and watch fireworks over the picturesque La Jolla Bay.

San Diego Beaches

San Diego is well renowned for its miles and miles of sun-kissed sandy beaches. A trip to this place is incomplete if you haven't checked out its beaches. And especially from July to October, is the perfect time to beat the heat and have a great time at the beaches out in your kayak.

There is charming Coronado Beach, picturesque La Jolla Cove, beautiful Mission Beach, amazing Pacific Beach and lots more. Pacific Beach is one of the most popular beaches of San Diego and is immensely popular with youngsters. It is the best beach to enjoy nightlife with all its fun-filled clubs, pubs and beach side bars.

For sailing, kayaking, and other water sports such as fishing, swimming and tide pool exploration, Coronado Beach is the best. If you are fond of diving then La Jolla Cove is the most famous diving site to have an awesome experience. Mission Beach is another happening beach which is always packed with plenty of tourists and locals enjoying sunbathing and lazing around.
